Conventional translation page may consist of 1000, 1600 or 1800 characters with spaces. The most common page size is 1800 characters. The European and US translation companies use per word calculation basis. In this case, standard translation page consists of ~250 words. You can also count the number of words (if it is in WORD) yourself.

• Select the text that you want to count.
• Include text in footnotes, endnotes, and text boxes in the word count.
• On the Review tab, in the Proofing group, click Word Count.
• In the Word Count dialog box, select the Include textboxes, footnotes, and endnotes check box.

Now that you know the word (or characters) count.

Calculating how many “words” are in a Chinese/Koreаn/Japanese document can be difficult. Normally, the easiest solution is to calculate the number of characters instead. One conventional translation page in Chinese and Korean may consist of 300-400 characters, and in Japanese – 600-700 characters.

If you know the word count, let’s calculate translation cost for your document.

For instance, we offer $0.10 per word for translation services (to get a Quote in USD or other currency for a language pairing, please contact our manager). Let’s assume that you have 2,500 words in the document: 2,500 * $0.10 = $250.

Next time when you need to calculate the cost of translation you may find the word count and multiply it by translation rate we offer.

Disclaimer: certain documents, such as legal papers or medical reports, entail the use of highly-qualified translators. As such, these documents usually cost more. How soon you require a document will also significantly impact the cost of translation. For extremely urgent cases, services charge a premium fee.

The quality of our work results from the quality of our translators. We have rigorous recruitment and assessment systems in place to ensure that we work with the very best linguists.

Almost all of our translators and editors work exclusively in their own native language (native speaker principle).

All translations are subject to TRANSLATION + PROOFREADING. We can involve an editor and a DTP specialist (designer) upon the customer's request.

Many people would immediately imagine a professional translator using something like Google Translate, with its translation then edited by the translator. NO!!! This misunderstanding gives rise to a series of problems in the relationship between translation agencies, translators, and their clients, and is the reason for many reservations and manipulations between these parties.

In fact, our translators avoid machine translations. Instead, they use automated translation, i.e. professional systems that aid translation by not repeating the same work many times.

The principal function of such systems is to memorize all existing completed translations: every sentence is written and stored in a database (called "translation memory" or a "translation database"), where it can be accessed at any moment.

First of all, we use so-called translation memory CAT tools (CAT means computer-aided translation) and CAT systems. Some examples of CAT tools: Trados, Déjà Vu, MemoQ, SmartCAT.

Along memorizing these tools also have terminology management function.

We use other very useful linguistic software for translators:
• Spell checkers (Proofread).
• Grammar checkers (Grammarly, Reverso)
• Terminology databases or online dictionaries

We work with pictures, graphics, drawings in AutoCAD, EPLAN, CorelDraw, Adobe InDesign, etc.

Quality is the main advantage of our agency.

Steps of the quality assurance process in our company:
• We assign a proper translation (a translator who is usually a native speaker of the target audience with an experience in the same subject matter or industry)
• The editor combs the text after translator (checks for errors, common mistakes, and grammatical flaws, that the meaning of the source text comes across in the converted text)
• Desktop Publishing Team puts translated text in a format
• A proofreader checks the final document
• The project manager sends the translated project to the client

We can offer to do a test translation counting 1,000 characters FREE OF CHARGE.

Upon the customer's request, we certify all our translations with our seal and the signature of the translator.

Certified Translation:

the translator and the agency issue a signed statement declaring that the translation that has been done is an accurate and true representation of the original document. This type of certification contains the translator’s signature and the agency’s seal.

Notarized Translations:

the Notary of the Republic of Uzbekistan certifies the translator's signature.
